GUMSHOE opens this weekend

Over the last six months, you may have seen Tassos chasing clues in Philadelphia and leaving a set of clues on our blog and we cannot wait to finally share with you what it’s all been about.

The very brilliant and ingenious New Paradise Laboratories are opening their new production GUMSHOE this weekend, running in conjunction with the Free Library of Philadelphia’s We the Detectives.

An immersive adventure in detection. An exhibition has opened containing the original manuscript of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Murders in the Rue Morgue,” the very first detective story. Your guides, members of the Library staff, are behaving… well… strangely.

Coney, here represented by Tassos Stevens, were brought on board as experience designer. Running alongside the live performances at Parkway Central Library and for those curious enough to find themselves on an adventure outside, you can experience the Mobile Adventure using your mobile phone.

MobileExperience

We are brimming with excitement as GUMSHOE opens this weekend at Parkway Central Library and runs from Saturday 8 April until Sunday 7 May.

For those of you lucky enough to live in Philadelphia you can book tickets here for the live performances and you can start the Mobile Experience here.

Read more about the project in an interview with NPL’s Artistic Director Whit MacLaughlin here.
