Coney is at the forefront of contemporary theatre, with a thriving expertise in interaction design and public engagement.  Now we’re recruiting for a new Executive Director to lead the company through the next stage of its strategic and financial development.

Working alongside Coney’s three Co-Directors, the Executive Director sits at the heart of a small, dynamic team.  The role combines strategic leadership and clear decision making with the need for strong collaborative skills and a natural ability for nurturing innovative cultural projects.

With a good understanding of creative entrepreneurship you’ll lead further development of the company’s income streams and ensure its business model is fit for purpose.  You’ll be comfortable working across the subsidised and commercial sectors to create new partnerships and opportunities, developing collaborative projects and leading bids for funding from a range of sources.

You’ll have responsiblity for maintaining vital relationships with Coney’s collaborators and stakeholders, including Arts Council England, representing the company’s interests and furthering the case for the impact of its work with artists and audiences.

£30,000-£33,000 dependent on experience & contract.
This is a full-time role, however we are interested to receive proposals to adapt the role to suit a part-time appointment.
