Georgia is a theatre maker, game designer and installation artist based in Melbourne, Australia. She is interested in using playful, interactive forms to “play through” complexities. She also works extensively in youth arts, most frequently with Western Edge Youth Arts. In 2015, her writing was supported by an Australian Theatre for Young People mentorship, a Wheeler Centre Hot Desk fellowship, and an Australia Council ArtStart grant. In 2016, she was selected to participate in the Melbourne Festival Directors Lab, and as a writer in the Lonely Company mentorship program. In 2017, she worked with Coney in London, co-writing and co-directing a regional UK tour of “Remote”. Georgia holds a Master’s of Writing for Performance from the Victorian College of the Arts (2014). She is the co-director of “Small and Loud”, Melbourne’s scratch night for theatre and live performance, and the creative director of PlayReactive Theatre. She’s currently writing a video game called Wayward Strand with support from Film Victoria, due for release in late 2017.
