We’re hugely pleased to announce the appointment of a new trustee for Coney, Gareth Thomas. Gareth is a Barrister for HM Revenue & Customs and joins our Board in the role of Treasurer.
I’m delighted to be on board with Coney. I’ve always seen play and exploration as central to what makes us human and to mix this with the sensitivity and social conscience that Coney shows is something I’m proud to be a part of.
As a registered charity (number 1156864), Coney’s Board are a crucial part of what we do, not just as the governing body guiding our mission but also through their impressive range of individual superpowers. From a range of backgrounds and professions, our Trustees are an incredible asset to Coney, supporting us with advice and expertise in everything from law to fundraising.
Ben Yeoh, Chair of Coney’s Board, says:
Delighted to welcome Gareth to the Coney family. His skills and experience will be a valuable addition to meeting our mission of sparking change through play and performance for a wide range of stakeholders.
We’re incredibly grateful for the ongoing support our Board provide, and thrilled to be welcoming Gareth as a part of Coney for many adventures to come.
