When you need to find out about the past, where better to start than The National Archives?
We’re hugely excited to announce the launch of a brand new family adventure, commissioned by The National Archives.
Join Tanya Rose, a Junior Specialist at The National Archives who needs your help. Tanya’s certain that her grandad was a spy, but she can’t find out the truth on her own. My Grandad: The Spy takes you on an adventure to find clues, break codes and keep undercover on a top secret mission.
Our latest project for families has been made in response to The National Archives’ exhibition Protect and Survive: Britain’s Cold War Revealed. We’ve had a wonderful time making it, and we’re delighted to be sharing it with you.
Director & Writer Toby Peach says:
Diving into the hidden wonders of the National Archives has been an absolute treat and I hope our audiences are going to enjoy the adventure as much as we have enjoyed making it. The new Cold War exhibition there is brimming with exciting insights into a time of spies and secrecy and I hope My Grandad: The Spy adds to that world for young families who come to play.
The project can be played at the National Archives now and through the summer. To find out more and book, visit the project page here.
