Telephone: Announcing further dates

We have been thrilled by all of the wonderful responses to Telephone, and the experiences that people have shared with us. With this in mind, we’ve decided to release a further limited run of tickets.

Written and performed by Tassos Stevens, Telephone is a live online storytelling performance, with some very gentle (and optional) interaction, and conversations over a drink. You can find out more about it here.

  • Sat 27th June – 1pm and 7pm
  • Sat 4th July – 11.30am and 7pm
  • Sun 5th July – 7pm
  • Sat 11th July – 11.30am and 7pm

Your own home: you’ll need to have access to Zoom to join the Coney Zoom Bar. And bring a drink of your choice too.

How to book:

Tickets (one per screen) are available on a Pay What You Can basis. We advise that you book as soon as possible, with both previous runs selling out very quickly.

You can find out more & book tickets here.

Here are some of the lovely things people have said about Telephone so far:

Not only thematically eloquent in the way it is exploring fragility, connection and distance, but […] also asking questions about what it means to be in a room and play together on Zoom. Coney are pushing at the boundaries of theatre and of technology – Lyn Gardner, Stagedoor

A beautiful, thoughtful and seriously smart piece of work. The best use of Zoom for live performance I’ve seen yet. Will be thinking about it for ages – @finkennedy

Food for the soul. Never thought I’d cry on zoom – @Franciska_E

Theatre perfectly tailored to the times we live in now… also one of the most lovely interventions into lockdown I’ve experienced – @honorharger

Lovely to interact with people from thousands of miles away having a shared experience. You don’t get that at regular theatre! – audience email

Best thing I’ve seen in theatre in a long time, and definitely best thing I’ve seen amongst all corona “online” theatre. Quiet and human – @phideljo
