Our General Manager Rowan is moving on this summer after over 4 years with Coney – which means we are looking for a new team member! This is an exciting opportunity to join Coney at a moment of growth, as we move through the pandemic into a long-term hybrid model.
The successful applicant will be a highly organised, independent and practical individual who is passionate about ensuring that Coney’s core operations reflect our principles of adventure, curiosity and loveliness. Experienced in finance and administration, they will work with the HQ team to keep our systems and processes running smoothly, acting as a key pillar of the company’s culture and internal communications. They’ll work with a great degree of autonomy, making the role their own, but always collaborating closely with the team as a whole.
We’re particularly keen to be in touch with anyone from a background currently underrepresented in the arts, for example if you are a person who experiences racism, or didn’t go to university. Please also spread the word to anyone who could be a perfect fit but doesn’t know Coney yet!
Salary: £31,000 – £33,000 (pro rata) dependent on experience
Hours: Permanent, full time (part time working will be considered for the right candidate)
Location: Hybrid, in-person, or remote working will be considered. Some work will be required from Coney HQ (currently based at Unit 15 Toynbee Studios, 28 Commercial Street, London E1 6AB)

Deadline for applications: Monday 25th April, 10am
Interviews: 3-4 and 9-10 May. All interviews will be conducted remotely and interview questions will be sent to candidates in advance.
Start date: July or August 2022
Questions, comments and access needs
We’d love to chat if you have any feedback or questions not answered in the application pack. Please let us know if you need any adjustments to the application process, for example if the form is a barrier for you and you need to use an alternative format.
Coney has transitioned to a hybrid model with company meetings held online by default, enabling us to offer more flexibility to our staff. We are happy to have in-principle conversations about the kinds of accommodations that could be made for individual needs of the successful candidate (such as part-time hours or remote working), along with anything else you need to know in order to decide whether to apply. Any questions you ask before applying will be dealt with separately from your application form, which will be anonymised before shortlisting.
To contact us about anything to do with the role, please email email@example.com including ‘General Manager vacancy’ in the subject line. If you want to send us anonymous feedback or suggestions about the application process, you can do that here: https://bit.ly/ConeyCulture
