Eliza joined Coney in February 2019 and works as the Admin Assistant and General Helper for Whatever You Need.
She is a recent (2018) graduate from SOAS, University of London, where she studied International Relations and Social Anthropology. Since then she has been working in theatre administration and production support for artists such as Haley McGee (The Ex-Boyfriend Yard Sale) and companies such as Talk is Free Theatre (The Curious Voyage).
She is an active member of the National Youth Theatre, as part of which, she has trained and worked on productions and R&Ds. Most notably she worked on Nadia Latif and Omar El Khairy’s ‘Homegrown’ (2015) – acting, devising and contributing to the writing of the finished piece (now published by flyrates). She is also a training member of Soho Young Company and The Free Association. Eliza is currently developing her own solo show, ‘PAM’ set to be scratched in Summer 2019.
Her other interests include social activism and volunteering, particularly with destitution and migration issues in Britain.
