Producer

Harriet joined Coney as Producer in January, following her three years working at new writing theatre company Paines Plough. In her time there she has produced plays such as POP MUSIC by Anna Jordan and I WANNA BE YOURS by Zia Ahmed whilst supporting across 22 productions. As well as this she has run their on-going national playwright project COME TO WHERE I’M FROM bringing it to 9 different cities and Latitude Festival, and their audience development project the Small Scale Touring Network. As a producer Harriet is committed to bringing theatre to all four corners of the UK, from council estates to stately homes, rural village halls to 1000-seater theatres, student night clubs to music festivals.

Harriet jointly runs COMPLEX. with Kirsten Peters Roebuck, a production company devoted to bringing together the personal, political and the artistic through performing arts in whatever form that may take. It is a company that strives to make socially engaged theatre that is pertinent and relevant to our diverse nation championing a myriad of voices in the creative arts across the UK. Her work as a freelance producer includes Molly Taylor’s EXTINGUISHED THINGS (Holden Street Theatre Award Winner, 2018). She is also the Chair of interactive and digital theatre company Produced Moon, having started her career as their Producer back in 2013.
