A smartphone adventure for families
Nature Corridor Protectors is a new, interactive, outdoor game for children aged 7-13 and their grownups, made in partnership with Norfolk Wildlife Trust. Embark on this free phone adventure, exploring urban green spaces and local wildlife.
Can you help Judy?
Judy, from Norfolk Wildlife Trust, wants to reconnect her brother to the unnoticed magic of King’s Lynn – and she needs your help. Through discovering secret spots, taking field recordings and breaking codes, families are invited to see the brilliance of nature on their doorstep and hopefully become a Nature Corridor Protector.
Nature Corridor Protectors is available takes around 40 minutes to play. The game starts at Stories of Lynn, Saturday Market Pl, King’s Lynn PE30 5DQ. Head there any time between 10am and 4:30pm – all you need is a fully charged smartphone and a sense of adventure!

Head to reception at Stories of Lynn and a member of staff will give you a flyer showing you how to start the adventure – or you can simply scan the QR code at the bottom of this page.

Each group needs one fully charged smartphone, with access to mobile data and the ability to send/receive texts and calls. The game is played outdoors and involves walking around King’s Lynn, so we recommend comfortable clothing.

The smartphone adventure uses a free mobile website, so you won’t need to download an app (but you will need access to mobile data). Clues and directions will be shared by links, texts and phone calls directing you across several outdoor locations in King’s Lynn. These are all 5 to 10 minute walks from one another.

The game has been designed for young people (age guidance 7-13) and their grownups, but anyone is welcome to play. You only need one phone per family group.

The game is free to play. You’ll be required to send a small number text messages (up to 5), charged at your normal rate.
