Phoebe the Apprentice Ranger

A family adventure at The National Trust

 August 2018

Phoebe the Apprentice Ranger was a playful family adventure commissioned by the National Trust at Polesden Lacey, Surrey.

Phoebe had just landed her dream summer job: to protect the habitats of her favourite animals, learn the Countryside Code, and become a real-life Ranger. With her boss Lenny by her side, families joined Phoebe on her first day – helping her complete a series of missions across the estate.

From spotting wildlife to cracking semaphore codes, families explored the site through interactive challenges, earning ranger badges and helping Phoebe grow into her new role. Along the way, they discovered the wonders of Polesden Lacey – and what it really means to care for the countryside.
