Phoebe the Apprentice Ranger

A family adventure for the National Trust

Dates: 8-26 August 2018

Phoebe has a new job for the summer. It’s the job she has always dreamt of since she was a little girl. To stand up for the habitats of her favourite animals. To follow the countryside code. To be a Ranger.

Phoebe the Apprentice Ranger was a family adventure commissioned by the National Trust, Polesden Lacey (Surrey) for families to explore the site. Families met Phoebe and her boss Lenny, and then had the chance to explore a variety of missions and challenges, from spotting wildlife in the grounds, to cracking semaphore codes. Along the way they could earn ranger badges and help Polesden’s new apprentice ranger Phoebe to learn more about the estate and the Countryside Code.
